The DHD Interceptor is Darren Handley's take on a super versatile mid-length that will suit any surfer looking to have as much fun as possible, and it is the perfect board for navigating a busy summer line-up. The extra foam provides heaps of paddle power and will allow you to dramatically increase your wave count whilst maintaining speed through any section of the wave. The 5 fin set up allows a wide range of fin options, and it will even work as a twin fin.

Stringered EPS
Stringered EPS – combines a traditional timber stringer with EPS foam and 160g BIAX cloth. This creates a board that’s stronger, more responsive, and performs well in all conditions, not just small or weak waves.
The timber stringer acts as a natural dampener, reducing chatter and improving control in bumpy or windy surf. It also adds flex and drive without making the board feel too stiff or reactive. BIAX is a 160g fiberglass cloth that adds durability and controlled flex. It enhances the “pop” of the board while maintaining strength and longevity.
Because EPS is more buoyant, Darren has thinned out the rails to help the board bite and engage more easily, especially on rail-to-rail turns.
