The Alpha gets its name from the very first letter in the Greek alphabet, marking the first pintail shortboards at the beginning of the shortboard revolution in the late 60's. The Alpha Pin has the wide point forward, and soft rail with a slight roll and a single concave into a heavy vee through the tail. If you want an unbelievable paddler, a fast and smooth ride with heaps of manoeuvrability, then this is the board for you.
